New Delhi: On the 26th day of Maha Kumbh 2025, thousands of devotees thronged the sacred Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj to take a holy dip. The grand spiritual gathering witnessed an overwhelming turnout, with pilgrims from across the nation commending the well-executed security measures and meticulous planning.
One devotee expressed his satisfaction with the arrangements, stating, “There is no fear here. The security is excellent, and the bathing process at the Sangam is well-organized. It’s truly a divine experience.”
Another pilgrim from Telangana highlighted the significance of the event, praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. “People are traveling great distances to be part of this sacred occasion. We appreciate the country’s progress under PM Modi’s guidance, and his participation in the holy dip yesterday was inspiring. The arrangements are impeccable,” he remarked.
With seamless crowd management, the administration has ensured a hassle-free experience for visitors. One pilgrim noted, “There is nothing to criticize. The entire system is running smoothly, and every step is being guided for our convenience.”
The authorities remain vigilant, ensuring adequate security, sanitation, and overall facility management, particularly in the wake of a tragic stampede earlier that resulted in 30 casualties and left over 60 injured. Despite the challenges, Maha Kumbh 2025 continues to witness an unprecedented influx of devotees.
Beyond the spiritual fervor, the cultural celebrations under the “Maha Kumbh of Culture” initiative are set to resume. The Culture Department has prepared the Ganga Pandal for four days of grand performances featuring renowned artists. The schedule includes:
- February 7: Odissi dancer Dona Ganguly
- February 8: Playback singer Kavita Krishnamurthy
- February 9: Classical singer Suresh Wadkar and dancer Sonal Mansingh
- February 10: Vocalist Hariharan
However, due to the sacred Magh Purnima Snan on February 12, all cultural events will be suspended from February 11 to February 13.
As Maha Kumbh 2025 progresses, the convergence of faith, culture, and tradition continues to make it a landmark event in India’s spiritual and cultural history.
